I
am not a photography fan, and I don’t know very much about it, but one
picture that I like is a really famous picture , but the first time that I saw
it was when a friend showed it to me, after that I see it everywhere , it’s a kind of photographers’
cliché
It’s
a black and white pic which shows a man covering his musical instrument with an
umbrella while it’s raining. I think the reason why I like it is because when I
had to do models for my career, I usually had to protect them from the weather,
people and other threats, I usually preferred to save my work instead
of my life . Maybe it is the feeling that
the photographer wanted to express but, like I said, I am not an art´s expert.
So
the picture was taken (I don’t know when) by Robert Doisneau and It’s called “Musician
in the rain”, he was a French artist who took a lot of very famous pictures, like
the kiss (a sailor kissing his girlfriend), most of his pictures are about the post-war
society, but he also worked in advertising. Sadly he is dead so I can’t give him my greetings
